New Text Message: I Pooped!

Technology is not only for the young.  Progress has been made for Gramps and his incontinence too,… well maybe it benefits the nurses more.  An Australian company, Simavita, created the SIM cycle system which is now being used at nursing homes.  How it works: a replaceable pad with electronic leads detect moisture.  Those leads are run to the sim box which sends a text message to the resident nurse when it's changing time.  This enables the staff to efficiently carry out their duties, checking only on those who need the help.  Reports can be generated from them to keep track of incontinence problems.  Can also be used I guess to know when your child wets the bed.
